DevicenetSeries 2000 Communications Handbook6.6 PARAMETER ADDRESS MAPFor ease of understanding, parameters are categorised as either OPERATING MODE orCONFIGURATION MODE, then arranged into lists as shown in the following tables. Theselists are logical groupings of parameters intended to simplify the access to the large numberof available parameters. The names of these lists are called list headers.Under the Attribute heading is 2 columns of numbers. The 1 st column represents the decimalvalue address of the parameter while the 2 nd column represents the Hex value address of thatsame parameter. The parameter address is Class, Instance, and Attribute. Since the Class isalways 100 (64h), the Instance always 1 (01h), an logical segment encoding example wouldbe 20 64 24 30 09, this to encode the Alarm 1 Setpoint parameter.The Configuration Mode parameters are Read/Write (RW) when the Instrument Mode is setto Configuration unless noted as Read Only (RO).
