I/O Module IntroductionSetting Initial Counter ValueIn order to utilize the alarm function, users have to set a high-alarm limitvalue and/or a low alarm limit value, and an initial value to fulfill therequirements for a basic alarm setting.Figure 60: Sending Alarm Signal (recommended settings)Figure 61: Sending Alarm Signal (settings not recommended)Overflow ValueOverflow value is the number of times the counter value exceeds theMax/Min values you specified. When the counter value exceeds Maximumvalue, the overflow value increases; when the counter value goesunder Minimum value, the overflow value decreases. Besides, when thecounter value runs beyond the range of Max/Min value, it will continuecounting from the initial value.
