features the America’s cup trophy
engravings.
the commemorative Peace Pen,
a platinum, diamond and crystal
wonder created by Florentine artist
David montalto di Fragnito was
brought to the public in 2002. the
faceted pen combines engraving,
baguette-cut diamonds and baccarat
crystal, creating an ethereal piece
that is weighty in its size and intent,
yet light in the reflective aspect of its
whopping 48 carats of diamonds.
though not a limited edition but
nonetheless compelling, the miya collection
made its debut in September
2003 and features red, yellow or turquoise
celluloid and sterling silver in
eye-catching combination. the collection
includes fountain pens and
rollerballs, a very impressive variety
of nib sizes—extra fine, fine, medium,
medium oblique, broad, extra
broad, broad oblique and stub—and
an ebonite feeder designed and produced
by montegrappa. the fountain
pen is cartridge or converter
filled, and the pen caps are finished
with montegrappa’s signature Greek
key band.
