“One1 Eliminator” not possible(i) If circumstances make a “One1 Eliminator” impossible in a Semi-Final or Final the teamthat finished higher on the points table at the conclusion of the preliminary matches shall bedeclared the winner.9 POINTS9.1 Preliminary MatchesRefer to Regulation 32 for Premiership Points in One Day matches. Separate Points Ladders shall be used forthe One Day Competition and the Premiership Competition in First Grade and the Alan Pettigrew Shield.Separate Points Ladders shall be used for the Katherine Raymont Shield (One Day and Twenty20 matches) andthe Katherine Raymont Shield Twenty20 competition (Twenty20 matches only).9.2 Net Run Rate(a) A team’s net run rate is calculated by deducting from the average runs per over scored bythat team throughout the competition, the average runs per over scored against that teamthroughout the competition.(b) In the event of a team being all out in less than its full quota of overs, the calculation of itsnet run rate shall be based on the full quota of overs to which it would have been entitled andnot on the number of overs in which the team was dismissed.(c) Only those matches where results are achieved will count for the purpose of net run ratecalculations. Where a match is abandoned, but a result is achieved under Duckworth/Lewisor the “Calculation of Target Score” table, for net run rate purposes Team 1 will beaccredited with Team 2’s Par Score on abandonment off the same number of overs faced byTeam 2. Where a match is concluded but with Duckworth/Lewis or the “Calculation ofTarget Score” table having been applied at an earlier point in the match, Team 1 will beaccredited with 1 run less than the final Target Score for Team 2 off the total number ofovers allocated to Team 2 to reach the target.(d) In matches where play is delayed or interrupted, and the match becomes less than the originalnumber of scheduled overs, the Team Run Rate for the team batting second will be the rateachieved in its innings, with such rate being based on the number of overs as set in PlayingCondition 3.2 and the target score as set in Playing Condition 8.3.9.3 Qualifying for Semi Finals and the FinalThe First Grade and Alan Pettigrew Shield One Day Competitions:(a) The four leading teams in the First Grade and Alan Pettigrew Shield One Day Competitions will play SemiFinals as followsNo. 1 Team v No. 4 TeamNo. 2 Team v No. 3 Team(b) In the event of the teams finishing on equal points, the right to play in the Semi Final match will bedetermined by the most wins in the preliminary matches or, if still equal, the higher net run rate in thepreliminary matches. In the event of a forfeit or a match declared no result, run rate is not applicable.(c) If no result is achieved in a Semi Final on the scheduled day of play, the higher placed team at the conclusionof the preliminary matches shall proceed to the Final.(d) Separate Finals shall be played for the One Day Competition and the Premiership Competition in First Gradeand the Alan Pettigrew Shield.The Katherine Raymont Shield:(a) On completion of the rounds the teams that finish in first and second position will play a Final.(b) In the event of the teams finishing on equal points, the right to play in the Final will be determined by thehigher net run rate in the preliminary matches. In the event of a forfeit or a match declared no result, run rateis not applicable.(c) The Final for the Katherine Raymont Shield shall be a One Day match, based on Premiership points fromboth One Day and Twenty20 matches.(d) A separate Twenty20 Final shall be played based on Premiership points from Twenty20 matches only.41
