5.1. 1-Day PassesThese passes will be valid only on the day of issue. They may be issued by anyAccreditation Centre, do not need to be returned, and grant temporary access to:1) Mediterranean Family Hotels 2) Mediterranean Village 3) Sports Venues.1. Should Guest and Residential Passes be required, upon written request by theResponsible Organisations’ referent official,(submitted no later than 6.00 pm onthe previous day), all necessary verifications will be carried out and onlyafterwards will it be possible to authorise the issue.2. Every National Olympic Committee will have available a certain number of 1-daypasses, depending on the sports delegation size. The passes will grant access tothe Mediterranean Village.The passes given to the media granting access to the residential area will becounted as part of the allotment assigned to each CNO. All visitors allowed intothe Mediterranean Village must follow the ICMG policy regarding theMediterranean Village.The passes will have to be requested in writing by 6.00 pm on the previous day bythe Responsible Organisations’ referent official and collected at the VillageAccreditation Centre on the day required.3. Should the main accreditation card be lost and access to a certain facility benecessary, following verification of the accreditation holder’s ID and all othernecessary checks, a 1-day-pass may be issued while waiting for a new personalaccreditation card.20
5.2. Additional access meansFor specific categories of operators and in specific situations, the main accreditation cardshould be associated with additional ID verification systems granting access to highlyrestricted areas.• Accredited photographers and cameramen will be provided with special bibs to beworn to enter designated areas• Adhesive label for the opening ceremony• Adhesive label for the closing ceremony• Parking pass21
