International Broadcasting CentreDue to logistic needs and in order to facilitate Press activities as much as possible, theIBC will also be located inside the Stadio Adriatico, on the first floor of the MPC, in the“Tribuna Adriatica” stands.6.3. Work areas for the Media at Competition VenuesPRESS STANDS AND PRESS ROOMSA general description of the services available for the Press is provided below.PRESS STANDS• Fully-equipped workstations for print media journalists (with power-supplysockets, telephone line and connections);• TV boxes with telephone line and connections, power-supply sockets, anddistribution cables;• workstations for radio stations, also equipped with power-supply sockets,telephone line, and connections.PRESS ROOMS• Adjacent to the conference rooms, they will be furnished with desks, power-supplysockets, telephone lines and connections.CONFERENCE ROOMS• Area for TV interviews and area for press conferences.MIXED ZONEHOSPITALITY AREAS:• Fully-equipped Hospitality Areas will be set up both in the Press Stands and in thePress Room.24
6.4. Media GuideAll Media representatives will be provided with a pocket-size Media Guide published in 4languages: French, Italian, English, and Arabic.The Guide will include all necessary information on accommodation, transportation,services, useful numbers, and additional information.As regards Accommodation and Transportation, during the accreditation phase we willduly inform all the people involved about all aspects currently being defined.The same will apply to Host Broadcasting.6.5. Access criteria to restricted areasAutomatic AccessAll accreditation persons will be entitled to access the stands specified on theiraccreditation card and the zones assigned to their category, subject to availability, withthe exception of the opening and closing ceremonies, for which designated entrancetickets will be assigned.Access with ticketsIn certain cases, previously defined and communicated, access to the venues and thereserved stands may be granted to specific categories, subject to the presentation of aticket in addition to the accreditation card.25
