Base<strong>Oligo</strong>cene incision affected <strong>the</strong> eastern and central part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> canyon (c). Note <strong>the</strong> lateral shift in <strong>the</strong> position <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> canyonduring <strong>the</strong> three incision episodes.
