We are part of severalERASMUS and SOCRATES networksin Europe, and have non-Europeanstudents exchange programmeswith universities in USA, Japan andChina. In addition, non-native English speakers will needTOEFL 550 or IELT S 6.5 or equivalentminimum. The most popular choice isto stay with a family (known as homestay). Other options include staying oncampus or in shared private rentedaccommodation in Bath, althoughavailability for these depends on thecourse you are applying to study. The one-year courses aretaught in English and recognised by the French Ministry of Educationas well as Bath Spa University.Although each course is distinctand self-standing, there is a commontheme of ‘design methodology’ runningthrough them, and some sharedmodules.Graduates from the followingdisciplines will be particularly suitablefor these courses: graphic design,fine art, fashion, design, businessand marketing, spatial designers,digital media, product designers,textiles, interior designers. In addition,graduates from other disciplines who can demonstrate an ability toappreciate and manipulate conceptsof art, design, theory and practice maybe suitable candidates.
