1530. DAN WALTER SHOTGUN CASE This is a well made heavy aluminum Dan Walter take-down shot gun case that measures 31”x 6 1/4”x<br />

7 1/4”. This case is lined with blue baize and has numerous compartments. The case is designed for a takedown shot gun with a barrel of no<br />

more than 27”. Under the barrel storage area are compartments for storing cleaning supplies. There are also compartment of choke tubes. In<br />

the cover there is a compartment that currently holds 2 sets of Briley tubes, one set is 12 to 20 ga. and the other is 12 to 410. These tubes were<br />

custom fitted by Briley for an unknown O/U shotgun and will not fit other shotguns. This is a very nice shotgun case. (3376-24)<br />

1531. CANNON COLLECTIBLES This lot includes a small chrome cannon shaped cigarette lighter by ATC Japan. This piece is 6” overall and<br />

is lit by pulling the cascable. One wheel is broken off. Also a set of silver plastic salt and pepper shakers shaped as a 15th century double cannon.<br />

1532. BRASS SALUTE CANNON This is a small percussion salute cannon with a 8 1/2”, 65 cal. brass barrel with a deep mustard finish and an<br />

oxidized bore. The carriage and wheels are iron with pitting and oxidation. The barrel evaluation adjustment is present but has a newer screw<br />

extension to the barrel. The rear of the barrel has a knurled cascable with the pivot for the hammer which is “S” shaped and is pitted. Over all a<br />

nice older salute cannon. (3411-19) {ANTIQUE}<br />

1533. DEWEY ALARM CANNON This is a Dewey cast iron 1” bore alarm cannon with percussion firing vent on the underside of the barrel.<br />

This barrel measures 14” long and stands 9” tall on a cast iron bed. Firing of the warning cannon takes place when a cord, attached to rod, is<br />

pulled and the rod trips the lever holding the barrel breech in a raised position. The barrel breech pivots downward, igniting a percussion cap on<br />

the fixed hammer mounted on the bed. The piece retains 30% of early gold, green and silver paint with the remainder showing a dark brown patina.<br />

The cannon functions and would be a great addition to any collection. (3397-17) {ANTIQUE}<br />

1534. MODERN SALUTE CANNON A newly created salute cannon appears to be a one of a kind item. This cannon has a high tensile steel<br />

16 1/4” barrel with a 1” smooth bore and 2 7/16” diameter at the muzzle and is oxidized. Overall the piece is 20 3/4” and stands 9” at the muzzle.<br />

It is mounted on hand made mahogany carriage with machined aluminum wheels. The trunnions are held in place with brass blocks. The<br />

vent hole is located 2 1/2” from the breach. The barrel retains 85% of original gold paint and the carriage is stained a rich brown with a crack and<br />

chip on the left rear corner of the tail. A well made piece. (3398-8) {ANTIQUE}<br />

1535. NON FIRING BRASS CANNON This piece features an 18 pound nicely detailed brass barrel with a 1” bore and 2” diameter at the muzzle.<br />

The barrel features a plain muzzle moulding, three reinforcing rings, center of barrel mounted trunnions and an oval cascable. The barrel has<br />

a nice mustard patina with some areas faded to brown. The barrel comes with a newer wooden bed in poor condition. A great barrel in need of<br />

a little TLC. (3412-15)<br />

1536. SMALL CANNON This cannon has a 10 1/2” barrel with a 88 cal bore with a 7” depth, 15 1/2” over all length and is 8 1/4” tall. The barrel<br />

is made of steel with 3 reinforcing rings machined into barrel and the vent hole is 3 1/2” from the breach. The green painted carriage is newer,<br />

appears hand made and is mounted on steel wheels and axle that are period with the barrel. The barrel has brown patina and the bore is heavily<br />

oxidized. (3412-3) {ANTIQUE}<br />

1537. MODEL NAPOLEON CANNON The is a well made Spanish replica of a Napoleon 12 Pound cannon. The steel barrel is 14 1/8” long, 69<br />

cal, has light surface oxidation and has a clean smooth bore. Over all this piece is 28” long and 11” tall at the wheels. Superb details abound with<br />

the carriage having steel rimed wooded spoke wheels; the stock is reinforced at the trunnions and mid way to the tail. A steel lumbar is present<br />

as is the pintle hook and chain. There is a screw elevator, two metal storage boxes and two bore cleaning poles with brushes. A great addition<br />

to you firearms collection. (3412-1)<br />

1538. SMALL NAVAL CANNON This is a non-firing replica of cannon from the US Constitution with a plaque noting such on the front of the<br />

carriage. The bronze barrel is 10” long with a 52 cal bore and retains 50% of its original bright finish. The carriage is made of softwood and is a<br />

well detailed ship mounted carriage. (3412-4)<br />

1539. BRASS FIELD CANNON This is a small non-firing stylized brass cannon with a 6” barrel in 45 cal. the carriage is made of two pieces of<br />

hard wood and is retained by two brass pins in the rear and by the brass axle with custom turned brass wheels. The metal pieces retain a nice<br />

brushed finish. (3412-14)<br />

1540. SMALL ALL BRASS FIELD CANNON This is a rough cast all brass cannon with a 7” barrel, 44 cal bore and a vent hole. The barrel<br />

is mounted on a solid brass carriage with brass spoked wheels and is 10 1/4” overall and 5” tall at the wheels. This piece has a nice unpolished<br />

mustard patina. (3412-10) {ANTIQUE}<br />

1541. MODEL OF NAVAL CANNON Well made model of an 18 Century naval cannon mounted on a wood deck base with water barrel and<br />

ramrod. The brass barrel is 4 3/4” long with a 42 cal bore and is nicely detailed with muzzle moulding, swell and barrel reinforcing bands. The<br />

carriage is mahogany with brass details and wood wheels. The barrel has a nice unpolished finish. (3412-18)<br />

1542. LOT OF MINIATURE CANNONS This lot consists of four miniature cannons including, two cast brass field cannons 3 3/4” long one<br />

with plaque showing Fort Sumter and marked “Fort Sumter Charleston, SC” and the second marked “Citadel Charleston SC” Also a brass field<br />

cannon 4 1/4” long with cast brass carriage, spoked wheels and nice detail on the barrel. A brass naval cannon 3” long with black cast iron carriage.<br />

1543. LOT OF MINIATURE CANNONS This lot consists of four miniature cannons including two pencil sharpeners designed as a gattling gun<br />

with carriage and siege mortar, one Brass field cannon 5” long with cast iron carriage and a cast iron field cannon with spoked wheels painted<br />

black. (3412-22, 23, 25, 26)<br />

1544. LOT OF SMALL CANNONS This lot consists of two small cannons including Model of 18th century naval cannon with bronze 7 1/2”<br />

straight rifled, 50 cal bore with drilled vent hole mounted on a soft wood naval carriage with wooden wheels. The barrel retains a nice brown patina.<br />

Also a model of 19th century field cannon with 6 1/2” brass barrel and spoked wheels and a black cast iron carriage. The barrel shows nice<br />

detail with muzzle moulding, handles, reinforcing rings and a removable cascable. There is a small brass wheel located at the lumbar. Brass retains<br />

nice mustard finish. (3412-12, 16)<br />

1545. BRASS SIGNAL CANNON This piece features an 9 pound, 12” brass vented barrel with a 63 cal bore and 1 3/8” diameter at the muzzle.<br />

The barrel features a plain muzzle moulding, center of barrel mounted trunnions and cascable. The barrel has a nice mustard patina with some<br />

areas are oxidized. The barrel comes with a wooden bed in fair condition. (3412-8) {ANTIQUE}<br />

1546. SOLID BRASS NON-FIRING CANNON This is a solid brass non-firing cannon with a 11” barrel is 15 1/2” overall and stands 5 1/4”<br />

tall at the spoked wheels. The carriage and wheels are brass and have an unpolished finish. (3412-9)<br />
