1131. WINCHESTER BARREL FOR A MODEL 40 SHOTGUN 12 Ga., 24” long, with a very good bore. A Cutts<br />

compensator has been installed and has a .755 tube. The metal surface retains 70% blue, the remainder a dark patina,<br />

but no oxidation. The Cutts compensator appears to be a factory option, as the barrel is not marked for choke. The Model<br />

40 is a very scarce shotgun, a 24” factory barrel with a Cutts compensator is much rarer still. (3404-43A)<br />

1132. CUTTS 12 GA. COMPENSATOR BOXED SET Contains six tubes choked .680, .690, .705, .725, .755,<br />

spreader. The box and all tubes, including the wrench, are in excellent condition. (3404-43B)<br />

1133. RHODE ISLAND MILITIA BELT WITH BUCKLE This complete belt is post-Civil War. The belt is<br />

in good condition. The rectangular R.I.M. buckle has a slight bend, but it is very good. (2789-228I)<br />

1134. MISCELLANEOUS LOT Contains a U.S. marked 18” chain, possibly to hold a water bucket on a cannon,<br />

a small single-spur, and a horse’s bit. All are in good condition. (2789-242B)<br />

1135. SMALL, THREE-COMPARTMENT FLASK BY DIXON This 3 3/8” copper oval flask is engraved<br />

“Perry Smith, Franklin, NY 1858”. The brass ends contain compartments for caps, balls and powder. The spout is<br />

offset for loading revolvers. The spring on the adjustable spout is stiff but working. Good to very good condition<br />

overall with some small dents and a dark patina. (2789-245D)<br />

1136. BATTY PEACE POWDE R FLASK This 8” brass flask is dated 1858 on the adjustable spout.<br />

The lacquered brass body is very good, the rings are intact, and the spout spring is strong. A very<br />

good flask. (2789-224)<br />

1137. LOT OF SHOT POUCHES Total of five. One is an American Flask & Cap Co. embossed leather pouch,<br />

showing pointing dogs on either side. The bottom loop is missing and a hole is non-present where it should<br />

be, good condition otherwise. Second is leather pouch with a hanging game embossed on both sides. It is<br />

unmarked and has a replacement spout, it is in good condition. Third is an American Flask & Cap Co.<br />

embossed leather pouch showing pointing dogs on either side. The bottom loop is broken and the stitching<br />

on the side is separating, it is in good condition. Fourth is a strap type pouch with the strap broken off<br />

1138. MAGAZINE FOR A JAPANESE TYPE 14 PISTOL The metal surfaces of this WWII magazine<br />

are about 90% blue. The aluminum base shows normal wear and handling marks. The cutout is present<br />
