1737. SAXBY PALMER ORION AIR REVOLVER<br />
serial #001074, 177 cal, 6” full ramp barrel with an<br />
excellent bore and sharp rifling. Metal surfaces retain<br />
99% original blued finish. This model uses reusable air<br />
cartridges with a 550 fps rating. This high quality air revolver was manufactured<br />
by Weihrauch of Germany for Saxby Palmer and includes Slim Jim air pump and 12 reusable<br />
cartridges. This interesting air gun looks like an S&W revolver and uses brass cartridges that are<br />
pressurized by the hand pump to 2250 psi. A 177 pellet is inserted into the front of the cartridge<br />
and six cartridges are loaded into the hand ejector cylinder. Interestingly, this<br />
type of air cartridge pistol was banned in England in 2004. This air gun wears<br />
one piece brown checkered plastic grips with a thumb rest. There is a small<br />
chip missing from the left edge near the grip frame. The trigger is serrated<br />
and adjustable rear and ramp front sights are mounted. Also included<br />
is a foam lined hard plastic case with keys and a wood display board.<br />

1738. THOMPSON CENTER CONTENDER SINGLE SHOT PISTOL serial #238277, 357 magnum, 10” bull barrel with<br />
excellent bore. Metal surfaces retain 99% original blue finish. This first model T/C has adjustable rear sights and ramp partridge front<br />
sights. The pistol has walnut finger groove grips with thumb rest and rate excellent with pleasing figure. The forend is smooth walnut and rates<br />
excellent as well. Overall a very nice looking Contender. (3586-10) (200/300)<br />
1739. LOT OF WW II GEAR This lot consists of M1916 leather holster marked “BOYT /E.T.C.” and the US marking on the flap is clear. The holster<br />
is in very good condition with scuffs and scratches from use. Also included is an M-1936 pistol belt with cast alloy buckle fittings and marked<br />
“U.S.”. The belt is fitted with a 1918 pattern magazine pouch marked “R.H.LONG/9-18”. This lot is in very good used condition. (3592-3A)<br />
1740. LOT OF 1911 MAGAZINES. This lot contains 2 M1911A1 WW II era magazines. Both are black oxide finished Type 5 and in excellent condition.<br />
The first is marked on the top of the toe “R” for Risdon Manufacturing Co. The second is marked “S” for Scovill Manufacturing Co. (3592-3B)<br />
1741. LEUPOLD SCOPE This is a Vari-X 2-7x30 R.F. special scope in high gloss blue finish features multi coated lenses and MOA adjustments for<br />
windage and elevation. The reticle is a fine line duplex, has excellent clear optics and comes with a lifetime warranty from Leupold. (3565-4A)<br />
1742. LOT OF SCOPES This lot includes four rifle scopes including Bushnell Sportview 4X32 scope with Multi-X reticle with gloss finish and bright<br />
clear optics. Second is a Tasco Silver Antler 3x9x32 scope with 30/30 reticle and excellent optics. Third is a Apache “Made in USA” rimfire 4X<br />
scope with good optics and mounts. Fourth is a Daisy 4X15 air gun scope with mounts and excellent optics. (3534-5A)<br />
1743. RUSSIAN NAGANT MODEL 1895 REVOLVER serial #48965, 7.62x39mm, with 4 7/8” barrel with fair bore with moderate pitting.<br />
Metal surfaces retain 95% original blue finish with light pin prick pitting evident on most components of the revolver. This 1905 Tula built gun is<br />
single action only, wears correct checkered wood grips that are well worn and rate good. Included is a brown leather holster that appears contemporary<br />
to the gun and rates good with cracks and scratches. (3544-5) {C&R} (250/350)<br />
1744. FLINTLOCK PISTOL 62 cal, 12” part octagon part round barrel with good smooth bore. The lock is from gun maker Dobson & Baker who<br />
operated in London from 1800-1806. The lock is of high quality and is finished bright and functions well. This pistol is highly decorated. The barrel<br />
retains a bright finish and has 60% coverage with arabesque scroll engraving with checkered background. The stock is inlayed with silver wire<br />
scroll from muzzle to butt and is cracked at the wrist, is missing chips at the muzzle and near the end of the lock. The brass furniture includes side<br />
plate, two cleaning rod thimbles, and extended buttplate, triggerguard and all retain a nice brass patina. This is a rebuilt flintlock pistol, most likely<br />
from the Middle East or India, which has an excellent English lock. (3556-8) {ANTIQUE} (200/400)<br />
1745. IVER JOHNSON SAFETY HAMMER MODEL serial #63870, 38 cal, 4” barrel with bright excellent bore. Metal surfaces retain 99%<br />
original nickel finish with only turn ring on the cylinder. The hammer, trigger and barrel latch retain nice case-hardened colors and the triggerguard<br />
is finished blue. Grips are checkered hard rubber with Iver Johnson Owl monogram and rate excellent. The gun times and locks tight.<br />
Included is a “hideout book”, hollowed out for the arm, with fitted blue baize lining and ammunition block with five UMC 38 Colt rounds. The book<br />
is authentic and would not be discernible from its brethren, hidden in a bookcase full of volumes. (3544-15) {C&R} (200/300)<br />
1746. SMITH &WESSON .38 SINGLE ACTION, 1ST MODEL REVOLVER serial #1645, 38 S&W, 4 ½” barrel with dark pitted bore.<br />
Metal surfaces have faded to an overall brown patina with some light pin prick freckling. Most screw heads show damage from improper disassembly<br />
and there are punch marks on the side plate. The action does not time and the hammer does not lock back when cocked. The smooth<br />
walnut grips are numbered to the gun and are very good with only a small chip next to the frame on the right grip. All numbers match. This is a<br />
less common blued revolver with correct grips and low serial number. (3474-263) (ANTIQUE} (150/250)<br />
1747. REMINGTON-ELLIOT DERINGER serial #19561, 32 RF, 3 3/8” four barrel cluster with very good bores with light pitting. Metal surfaces<br />
retain 10% original blue finish, the frame and barrels have turned a pleasing gray patina, the ring trigger retains its original blue finish. The smooth<br />
walnut grips rate excellent. The action works smoothly with the hammer rotating with each pull of the double action trigger. Overall this neat little<br />

1748. THAMES ARMS TOP BREAK REVOLVER serial #53817, 32 cal, 3 1/4” ribbed barrel with very good bore with light pitting. Metal surfaces<br />
retain 70% original nickel finish with most of the loss due to wear on the barrel and rear grip strap which has turned to a brown patina. The checkered<br />
hard rubber grips are excellent and are numbered to another gun, they have toned to brown. Hammer and trigger show muted case-hardened colors.<br />

1749. LOT OF COLT 1911 PARTS. This lot contains a Colt M1911 slide marked “MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY” with Rampant Colt at left rear;<br />
complete with sights, firing pin and extractor. The barrel has bright very good bore with only light frosting and is marked “P/ H”. The magazine is<br />
marked “R” for Risdon Manufacturing. The walnut checkered diamond grips are unmarked but appear consistent with correct 1911 era Colt grips.<br />
All parts from a M1911 are present minus the frame and are in very good useable condition. (3600-8) (200/400)<br />
1750. COLT POLICE POSITIVE REVOLVER serial #160993, 38 cal., 4” barrel with bright excellent bore. Metal surfaces retain 50% original blue<br />
finish mostly on the top and bottom of barrel, forestrap and yoke. The remaining surfaces are worn silver with light pin prick freckling from oxidation.<br />
The right frame shows signs of being buffed. The checkered hard rubber stocks with “COLT” monogram rate excellent and are numbered to the gun.<br />
The action times and locks tight. This Colt appears to have spent many years in an officer’s holster. (3596-11) {C&R} (200/400)
