The results are respectively exhibited inFigs. 7.23 and 7.24. The numerical values for the anomalous diffusion exponent αand for q are indicated in Fig. 7.25. From these, by plainly averaging α, we obtainan intriguingly precise verification of prediction (4.16) (with the notation changeμ ≡ α): see Fig. 7.26.As previously mentioned, several other applications of q-statistics are availablein the literature concerning plasmas, e.g., turbulent pure electron plasma [445,446].See also [463–480, 513].
