18. While concluding the meeting Shri. Virender Singh, Deputy Secretary,MHRD mentioned that he want to give more emphasis on twofollowing major issues(i)All pending works especially construction of school buildings,additional classroom, provision of toilet and drinking watershould be given top priority and should be completed early.(ii) The data/information relating to the progress of works, teacherrecruitment should be sent in time and should be correct.Delay/wrong reporting should be avoided.He added that hereafter we will have two meetings in a year i.e. one atthe middle of the year to have a midterm review and another forreview of annual progress. Apart from the above video conferencesand regional meetings are also planned to review the teacherrecruitment, review of low performing/infrastructure gap States andfor sharing of experiences with best performing States. He requestedthe participants to consult the pedagogy coordinators and to providethe correct information on teacher recruitment with break up withintwo weeks. He thanked the participants for participating in the reviewmeeting and also thanked TSG consultants and staff for the smoothconduct of the meeting and making it successful.The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the chair.21
