One could pick up <strong>the</strong>irinstant gallery entries between 1:00p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Attendeescould have three pieces in <strong>the</strong>Instant Gallery and demonstratorscould have up to six pieces. <strong>The</strong>rewere approximately 800 pieces in<strong>the</strong> Instant Gallery.Special Interest Night (SIN)was held on Friday, June 26 from7:30 - 9:30pm This was an opportunityfor groups and individuals tohave panel discussions, meetings,and special presentations. <strong>The</strong> <strong>AAW</strong>provided <strong>the</strong> rooms and digitalprojector. Past year sessions haveincluded groups <strong>of</strong> Segmenters,Pen Turners, Box Makers, Collectors<strong>of</strong> wood Art, Educators, DisabledTurners, Ornamental Turners,WOW and more.Spouse and Significant O<strong>the</strong>rInformationThree packaged tours wereset up for <strong>the</strong> non-woodturning enthusiast/travelpartner. <strong>The</strong>se tourswere:Santa Fe TourAlbuquerque City TourTram TourSpouse Craft Room was setup to allow non-woodturners topractice <strong>the</strong>ir own crafts with o<strong>the</strong>rswhile your spouses were enjoying<strong>the</strong>irs.<strong>Symposium</strong> ScheduleThursday June 25, 3:00 to 7:00p.m. - Registration/Check-in(registration also on Friday,Saturday and Sunday, beginningat 7:45 am).Saturday June 27, 5:30 pm to 6:00PM - Social Hour, followed by<strong>the</strong> Food Affair/Auction Gala at7:30 PMFriday-Sunday: Rotational <strong>Demonstration</strong>s,Friday and Saturday,9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 9a.m. - 3:15 p.m.Mildred and I arrived in Albuquerqueabout 1:30 pm and checkedinto our hotel before heading overto <strong>the</strong> Convention Center. Registrationwas to start at 3:00 pm and itwas an effortless task.
