Superintendent’s Recommendation:Item NumberThat <strong>the</strong> School Board <strong>of</strong> <strong>Seminole</strong> <strong>County</strong> accept <strong>the</strong> School Internal Accounts Audit for <strong>the</strong> fiscalyear ended June 30, 2011 and that <strong>the</strong> Audit be ordered filed as part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> public record.2. Background/Analysis:State Board Rule 6A-1.087(2) requires <strong>the</strong> School Board to provide for an audit <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>school</strong> internalaccounts on an annual basis. The Board contracted with <strong>the</strong> firm <strong>of</strong> Cherry Bekaert & Holland, L.L.P.to audit <strong>the</strong> <strong>school</strong> internal accounts for <strong>the</strong> fiscal year ending June 30, 2011.The report includes a list <strong>of</strong> specific findings at each <strong>school</strong>.We are pleased to note that no material findings were noted in <strong>the</strong> audit.3.
