To aid in the selection process, these easy-toreadnozzle numbers approximate the nozzle’s flow in gallons.PRIMARY AND SECONDARY NOZZLES CHANGE AS ONE UNITTwo distinct nozzles, each with its own particular function. But, Hunter’s patented systemdecreases velocity and pressure while increasing droplet size, resulting in excellentclose-in coverage. When the water droplets are larger, they are less affected by theprimary nozzle and less likely to be carried away by the wind.
