Dr. Luke Kanyomeka has a Ph.D in Weed Science from the University ofPretoria in South Africa. His earlier qualificationsinclude a Master of Science in Agronomy anda Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences from theUniversity of Zambia. He has held key positionsin his field of specialty ranging from Agronomist,Regional Manager, Agricultural Research Officeramongst others. He is currently the Deputy Deanof the Faculty of Agriculture & Natural Resourcesat the Ogongo campus. Dr. Kanyomeka is currentlypursuing research in rice production. His alsodid his Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting& Taxation and his Honours Degree in Accountingwith the same institution. He has published anumber of papers in the accounting field, as well asten different editions of an accounting handbooktitled A Students Guide on Namibian Income Taxfrom 1999 to the year 2008.
