Dr. Scholastika Iipinge completed a Ph.D in Community Health Scienceswith the Rand Afrikaans <strong>University</strong> in SouthAfrica. She holds a Masters <strong>of</strong> Science Degree inCommunity Health from the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Liverpoolin the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Nursingfrom the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Namibia</strong>. Dr. Iipinge hastwo diplomas, one in Nursing Administration andanother in Nursing Education and Community Healthfrom the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> South Africa (UNISA) and theMedical <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Southern Africa (MEDUNSA)respectively.She has undertaken a number <strong>of</strong> research consultancies ranging from Factorscontributing to maternal mortality in Northwest Health Directorate for theWorld Health Organisation (WHO), and Factors contributing to maternalmortality in Northwest Health Directorate for the Ministry <strong>of</strong> Health & SocialServices amongst others.
