HEALTHDr. Lischen Haoses-Gorases is a Senior Lecturer and Dean of the Facultyof Medical & Health Sciences. She has a Ph.D anda Masters degree in Nursing Science from theUniversity of Namibia. She also holds an Honoursand Bachelor Degrees in Nursing Science from theUniversity of South Africa (UNISA), an AdvancedNational Diploma in Nursing Education from theUniversity of Western Cape, and two diplomas inMidwifery Science and General Nursing Science fromthe Peninsula Maternity Hospital in Cape Town, andthe former Windhoek Nursing College respectively.Dr. Haoses-Gorases is a member of the World Health Organisation’s advisorycommittee which advises the agency on health development and research.She is also a member of a SADC research arm known as Data for SustainableDevelopment (CODATA). He did his Honours and Bachelor degreesin Nursing Education with the University of SouthAfrica (UNISA). Prof. Small has diplomas in IntensiveCare Nursing and Midwifery from the South AfricanNursing Council. Prior to this, he completed aBachelor of Social Science in Psychology and Nursingand another Honours degree in Nursing with theUniversity of the Free State in South Africa.He is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Medical &Health Sciences at the University of Namibia.
