EMPLOYMENT WINGSlNo.Officers/Employees1. Joint Direc<strong>to</strong>r<strong>of</strong><strong>Employment</strong>Duties <strong>and</strong> Responsibilities1. He will be responsible for overall supervision <strong>of</strong> administration <strong>of</strong><strong>Employment</strong> wing <strong>of</strong> the Department.2. He will be in-charge <strong>of</strong> overall supervision <strong>of</strong> all financial matters pertaining<strong>to</strong> <strong>Employment</strong> wing <strong>of</strong> the Department.3. He will be overall in-charge <strong>of</strong> vocational guidance programme, EMIprogramme <strong>and</strong> nuclear cell <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Employment</strong> Wing <strong>of</strong> the Department.4. He will be overall in-charge <strong>of</strong> implementation <strong>of</strong> the Planned Schemes <strong>of</strong>the <strong>Employment</strong> wing including the construction <strong>of</strong> Office buildings.5. He will be overall in-charge <strong>of</strong> implementation <strong>of</strong> computerization programmein employment wing.6. He will be overall in-charge <strong>of</strong> implementation <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Employment</strong>Exchange(compulsory notification <strong>of</strong> vacancies)Act 1959, Rules made thereunder matters connected there<strong>to</strong>.7. He will be overall in-charge <strong>of</strong> supervision <strong>of</strong> Annual supervision <strong>of</strong><strong>Employment</strong> Exchanges <strong>and</strong> other unit <strong>of</strong>ficers.8. He will be overall in-charge <strong>of</strong> training programmes for <strong>of</strong>ficers <strong>and</strong> staff <strong>of</strong>the <strong>Employment</strong> wing.9. He will be responsible for approving the <strong>to</strong>ur programme <strong>of</strong> the Officers <strong>and</strong>review monthly dairies <strong>of</strong> the <strong>of</strong>ficers <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Employment</strong> wing.10. He will be responsible for initiating review <strong>and</strong> accepting the annualperformance reports <strong>of</strong> Group-‘A’’B’’C’ <strong>of</strong>ficers /staff respectively <strong>of</strong><strong>Employment</strong> wing.11. He will also carryout any other work assigned by the Head <strong>of</strong> the Departmentfrom time <strong>to</strong> time.2. DeputyDirec<strong>to</strong>r(<strong>Employment</strong>)1. He will function under the supervision <strong>of</strong> the Joint Direc<strong>to</strong>r <strong>of</strong> <strong>Employment</strong>.2. He will function as the disciplinary authority for Group-‘C’ <strong>and</strong> ‘D’ employees<strong>and</strong> process disciplinary cases <strong>of</strong> Group-‘A’ <strong>and</strong> ‘B’ <strong>of</strong>ficers <strong>of</strong> theemployment wing.3. He will be in-charge <strong>of</strong> all court cases concerning the employment exchangepolicies <strong>and</strong> procedures.4. He will be responsible for moni<strong>to</strong>ring <strong>and</strong> reviewing <strong>of</strong> Annual Inspection
