Forest Park<br />
This <strong>program</strong> provides <strong>in</strong>-service tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g for current build<strong>in</strong>g<br />
<strong>in</strong>spectors and code enforcement officials and prepares students<br />
for entry-level employment. <strong>St</strong>udents will learn to approve<br />
architectural plans and specifications, award work permits and to<br />
<strong>in</strong>spect new construction as it progresses. They will become<br />
knowledgeable <strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>spection techniques, soils, architectural<br />
materials, plumb<strong>in</strong>g and electrical systems, heat<strong>in</strong>g and ventilation<br />
systems, and municipal fire safety regulations.<br />
Persons <strong>in</strong>terested <strong>in</strong> this <strong>program</strong> should be mechanically<br />
<strong>in</strong>cl<strong>in</strong>ed, honest, able to work with and pursue small details, able<br />
