This <strong>program</strong> prepares students for entry-level positions as<br />
cl<strong>in</strong>ical laboratory technicians. Through classroom and practical<br />
experience <strong>in</strong> hospital and cl<strong>in</strong>ical laboratories, students learn to<br />
perform qualitative, quantitative and analytic test<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong><br />
microbiology, hematology, blood bank<strong>in</strong>g, cl<strong>in</strong>ical chemistry,<br />
serology, immunology and rout<strong>in</strong>e analysis.<br />
Persons <strong>in</strong>terested <strong>in</strong> this <strong>program</strong> should have an <strong>in</strong>terest <strong>in</strong><br />
biology, chemistry and the health sciences and be able to follow<br />
precise and detailed <strong>in</strong>structions.<br />
Graduates are eligible to take the National Certify<strong>in</strong>g Registry<br />
Exam<strong>in</strong>ation. Positions are available <strong>in</strong> hospitals, cl<strong>in</strong>ics, doctors’<br />
