Matching funds arerequired by USDA. (Note: The method for calculating this item can differ from state to state.)Special Milk ReimbursementThis is the cash payment from the state for milk served to children in eligible schools and agencies that do not participate inother school foodservice programs.GrantsGrant money awarded to school districts for special projects and activities under state guidelines is recorded under thiscategory.
