BOH 280Frame no. 713Engine no. Of particularinterest is the ‘remarks’ section, which states ‘speedo 100mph forexperimental test’, perhaps indicating that the engine was speciallytuned. The late owner acquired the machine in November 2009 anda few years ago told Bonhams that it was very powerful and sweetrunning, emitting no smoke, and with no gearbox problems. ‘BOH280’ benefits from re-commissioning, undertaken in February 2010,which included overhauling the carburettor and stripping the gearboxto fit a new kickstart spring.
