Attending the courses below will help you to develop the moredetailed knowledge, skills and confidence that you will need for a variety of roles.Refresher for Established GovernorsThis course is a useful tool for all governors who have been in post for some time. This sessionwill enable you to:• refresh your knowledge of the role of a governor• help you keep abreast of current key priorities in governance• have the opportunity to share your experiences of governance and your good practice ideasPlease remember that our Overview Programme is also a great way to keep up with currentchanges in education/legislation.Safeguarding ChildrenThis two session (or full day) course is for all governors and essential for those withresponsibility for child protection and safeguarding. This is a more detailed session than the‘Overview of Safeguarding’ course.
