Pearl spent most of her career in nursing as an industrialnurse at Ryan Aircraft, school nurse, operating room nurse, and a nurseat <strong>the</strong> Boys and Girls Aid Society. Pearl’s legacy fund will support, inperpetuity, her favorite Catholic charities, and <strong>the</strong> scholarship fund willprovide opportunities for minority students in <strong>the</strong> <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> region.Kim Doren WOW FundKim has been actively involved in community organizations and lovesworking with children. Kim passionately believes in leaving a legacy <strong>to</strong>help future generations and previously establ<strong>is</strong>hed an endowment for<strong>the</strong> common good. “WOW” was <strong>the</strong> name of her business partnershipwith <strong>the</strong> late broadcaster Charlie Jones, with whom she co-authoredseveral books.
