A 7 of 14As the early implementations and first interconnections of GSM-R networks have shown, there are somecases of discrepancies in the interpretation of Standards. The volume of work involved in resolving someof these issues and the generation of appropriate CR’s can exceed the resources of the permanentworking groups. In these cases, it has been necessary to set up ad-hoc working groups. The ad-hoc groups currently in existence are:- Border Crossing- Common set of test cases- eREC (enhanced Railway Emergency Call)- ETCS Data-only Radio- FFFIS for Shunting- FFFIS for SIM-Cards- Frequency issues- GPRS- International Numbering- Interoperability testing (IOT)- Quality of serviceTC-RTThis group forms the interface to ETSI. The group is set up with representatives of the OG and FG andincludes members of the GSM-R Industry .
