3.1.3.3. 2004 Pheromone Trap ExperimentsIn 2004 following discussion with Agrisense BCS the more economically viable rubber septa formulationswere evaluated. These trials were highly successful in demonstrating the efficacy of these formulationsbecause similar numbers of midges were caught compared with the previous best formulation the 5mgloading polyethylene vial. (Fig 10).
