Their internal referencing laser (Connes advantage) is agreat leap forward in wavenumber accuracy and repeatability.Still it is often required by regulatory agencies and operatingprocedures, to calibrate the spectrometer. PIKE Technologiesoffers several new products to assist in this task.PIKE Technologies offers several versions of polystyrenereference materials for FTIR spectrometer calibration. The 1.5 miland 55 micron thick polystyrene are generally specified for calibratingwavenumber accuracy. PIKE also offers a NIST traceablepolystyrene version of these products which includes the referencematerial, calibration result for the material and its traceabilitydocumentation.The Specular Reflectance Standard is compatible with thefollowing PIKE Technologies products; VeeMAX III, 30Spec, 45Specand 10Spec.Specular Reflectance Standard – for calibrating reflectancemeasurement systemPolystyrene Reference Standards – for calibrating FTIRwavenumber accuracyThe Specular Reflectance Standard is a unique material forcalibration of your reflectance measurement system. The standard isa specially treated germanium element which only allows reflectionfrom its front surface – thereby providing a reflection value whichcan be calculated relative to Fresnel equations.
