Enter a name for the document and click OK.___NOTEHave a naming convention established before scanning so that everyone inyour office names documents in a similar manner for easy search andretrieval.WORKING WITH DOCUMENTSOnce a document is entered into the system, right-click the document and enter a descriptionin the Description field of the Document Properties window. The Drake DocumentManager Audit Log also shows the actions that have occurred to the document, for example,Date Imported and By Whom. It also shows if the file has been renamed, exported, e-mailed,or opened. It provides an audit trail of activity occurring with the document if created withinthe Drake Document Manager. Any action created outside the Drake system is not recorded.To open a document, double-click the document name or click the Open speed button.Documents in the Document Manager can be exported to another location. To export adocument, right-click a document and select Export to New Location. Browse to the filelocation for the export and click Save. To e-mail a file, select the file and click Email. Torename or delete a file, select the document and click Rename or Delete.To find a cabinet, drawer, or folder, enter part of the name in the text box under FilingCabinets and click Find. The file location is highlighted.CLIENT WRITE-UPDrake Client Write-Up is an extensive payroll package with basic bookkeeping functions andaccounts payable. The payroll portion supports Live and After The Fact payroll for employees(W-2) and contractors (1099), MICR check printing, production of W-2s, W-3s, 1099s, 94X forms,and all state quarterly unemployment forms. Through CWU, you can upload W-2s, W-3s, 1099s,and electronically file 94X forms.A number of reports, including multi-column profit and loss reports, pre-posted reports,comparative or single column balance sheets, and payroll reports are also available. Templates areincluded to allow easy creation of a chart of accounts.
