Close screen 1 and you are taken tothe Data Entry Menu.Existing returns open to the Data Entry Menu.To access a form for data entry, double-click the form description or type the screen code intothe selector field at the bottom of the Data Entry Menu. See Figure 15 below.Figure 15: Data entry speed buttons.Calculate calculates the returnView opens the return in View modePrint opens Print mode for the returnSplit splits a MFJ return into two MFS returnsDoc Mgr opens the Drake Document ManagerTax Planner opens the Tax PlannerImport imports Sch D and W-2 data into DrakeCSM opens the Client Status Manager statusselection listEmail opens Drake E-mail with the client fileattachedHelp opens the Drake Help SystemExit exits the returnTabsThe forms and worksheets available for data entry are divided into categories and listedunder different “tabs.” Categories vary depending on the tax package. Click a tab to accessits categories. To select a tab using your keyboard, use TAB, the arrow keys, PAGE UP, orPAGE DOWN.Form Codes and Selector FieldForm codes are listed to the left of each screen name on the Data Entry Menu. Theselector field at the bottom displays a blinking cursor.
