53Organizational Structure of MESHAs MESH for Success moved from development to design and planning the implementation, anorganizational structure evolved that would promote successful implementation. The sole responsibilityfor implementing and maintaining Southeastern Technical Colleges’ QEP lies with the AcademicAdministration. The Vice President for Academic Affairs determined a full-time Quality EnhancementPlan Director would provide direct management and administrative coordination for the project.Vice President for Academic AffairsThe Vice President for Academic Affairs reports directly to the President and will provide oversight forthe implementation and assessment analysis of the QEP by working closely with the QEP Director andthe Assessment Analysis Team.QEP DirectorThe QEP Director will report directly to the VP for Academic Affairs and will be responsible for themanagement and execution of the QEP. The Implementation and Assessment Analysis Teams led by theQEP Director and will direct all activities associated with the QEP. The Director will teach the ALMA 1000course and mentor all adjunct faculty instructors teaching the ALMA 1000 courses. Additionally, theDirector will be responsible for allocating and monitoring the project resources, preparing allassessment reports, and facilitating the annual Assessment Analysis Team meetings.Implementation TeamThe Implementation Team is composed of faculty and staff members based on their current jobresponsibilities within their respective college division. This team will work together and carry out theimplementation activities providing input, guidance, and recommendations to the QEP Director asneeded during the implementation process. Each team member will also assist the QEP Director inpromoting the awareness of the QEP throughout the College during the implementation of the project.Assessment Analysis TeamThis Assessment Analysis Team will provide support in analyzing the assessment results and evaluatingthe implementation of the QEP. This team will review all areas of the assessment data at the end of eachacademic year to perform a comparative evaluation of the QEP’s effectiveness. The membership of thisteam will consist of representatives from Academic Affairs, Institutional Effectiveness, Student Affairs, aswell as the QEP Director, Health Science Faculty member, and a Mathematics faculty member.Additionally, this team will provide support in the final QEP Report document preparation.ALMA 1000 Adjunct InstructorsThe adjunct instructors for ALMA 1000 will report to the Dean of Health Sciences and will be mentoredby the QEP Director. The adjunct instructors utilized for the ALMA 1000 course will be required to have aHealth Science background. Preference will be given to a registered nurse or Health Science professionalwho is knowledgeable about the ALMA 1000 course competencies.Page 53
