DUTIES OF EXECUTIVE ON DUTY· Collect completed score sheet after each game and photocopy (four (4) copies).These are to be brought in from courts by members of the winning teams;· Check against draw to make sure they are returned after each round of games;· At the end of games give copies of all score sheets to Games Co-Ordinator, UmpireCo-Ordinator, and Publicity Officer. Original score sheets are to be forwarded to theRegistrar;· Supervise fulfillment of Duty Club requirements;· Notify Games Co-Ordinator of any game infringements, and enter into fine book anyrelevant fines; and· Executive to lock Clubroom, Stadium, Car Park and School Gates.11. POINTSCOREPoint score shall be as follows: -a) Win or win on forfeit 3 pointsb) Draw 2 pointsc) Loss 1 pointd) Loss on forfeit 0 pointse) Bye 0 points12. RULES OF THE GAMEThese are played according to Netball NSW Rule Book.12.1. Team RulesNo interchanging of players between teams (except where substitutes withinClub rules apply).a) Players must play three (3) games within the season with their team to be eligible toplay in the semi-finals, finals and grand finals of the competition;b) Any team not fielding nominated umpires for their stated fixture shall incur a $10.00fine payable before the next competition game, - after third (3 rd ) failure of notfielding nominated umpire the team will be automatically disqualified fromcompetition;c) Each team may register a maximum of twelve (12) players. A team must field aminimum of four (4) of their teams registered players before borrowed players maybe used. A player from a lower grade, registered in same Club, may be played in ahigher grade on any given round of competition. Players cannot be borrowed forsemis, finals or grand finals. If a junior player is to be a substitute for a senior team,the Executive on Duty must give permission for that player to participate in seniorgame. LITHGOW DISTRICT NETBALL ASSOCIATION INC.BY-LAWSd) Players may play two (2) competition games as substitutes above their own gradebut upon playing a third (3 rd ) game as a substitute for the same team, the player isto remain a registered player in this particular team / grade. No restriction on Nettaplayers.e) A team cannot use more than two (2) substitutes from a lower grade in any one (1)team on any one (1) particular day. A player may play in their own team, and alsoone (1) game in higher grade on any one (1) day;f) Borrowed players names must be recorded on the score sheet with their registeredteam clearly recorded next to their name;g) The captain of each team will be responsible for all fees for their team and to ensurethat these are paid by the specified time, i.e., by the second competition game;h) All teams are to supply a regulation ball and responsible scorers who stand togetherand score as per rulebook;i) Junior players are eligible to play in the correct age division as at 31st December ofthat year i.e. 12 years old turn 12 from 1 January to 31 December. ExecutiveCommittee must grant permission for any junior player to play above their own agedivision. Executive Committee must grant permission for special cases (such asdisability) to play below their age division;j) If a Club member wishes to transfer to another Club they shall write to theAssociation and the Executive Committee shall meet and decide on the transfer;k) If a team withdraws from the competition, a registered player may be granted atransfer to another team within rule guidelines, upon application to ExecutiveCommittee;l) Any player who plays in a team below their own registered age / division shall incur a$10.00 fine for every game played in that team plus penalty as per playing rules;m) If a player is found to be playing in a grade below her age division and this is due toclerical error on behalf of the Club concerned it will be fined $50.00;n) Score sheets must be filled in completely and correctly - i.e.(i) Full Christian Name and Surnames;(ii) Signed by each captain; and(iii) Refer point f);Penalty to offending team shall be a fine of $5.00. Once a score sheet has beensigned as correct by both captains and umpires, no score sheet will be handed backto any team for any correction. No disputes will be entered into regarding scoresheets. If a team records the name of an unregistered player on the score sheet, theteam shall be given seven (7) days to prove that the person who played under thatname is one (1) and the same as a person who is registered. This proof shall be inthe form of a Statutory Declaration. Failure to submit such proof within seven (7)days of notification shall result in a fine of $5.00;o) If a team does not have five (5) players ready to take the court within five (5)minutes of the nominated time of commencement, the opposing team may claim aforfeit;p) In the event of a team receiving a forfeit, whether by prior advice or on actualcompetition day, all players currently registered with that team shall be deemed ashaving played, for eligible player status;q) Any player pregnant plays at their own risk;Page 15Updated November 2010
