INJURY TIMEUp to two (2) minutes to be allowed for injury time but no injury time to be added to game,except during semi final, final and grand finals.20. INTERCHANGE OF PLAYERSTo be applied as per <strong>Netball</strong> NSW rules.21. UMPIRESa) All junior teams must supply the names of one (1) umpire and one (1) alternateumpire. The Umpiring Co-ordinator and Sub-Committee will allocate this umpire to agame that is deemed to be neutral in the grade specified;b) All senior teams / divisions must supply the names of two (2) umpires;c) The umpires named must:· Be competent;· Hold a current pass in the Umpires’ Theoretical Examination or be prepared tosit the examination held each year;· Be approved by the Umpires Committee; and· Attend a basic umpires lecture;d) All non-playing umpires will be required to wear white.· Females: White dress or skirt and top, or full tracksuit with minimum colourtrim;· Males: White shorts with white shirt or full white tracksuit with minimumcolour trim.e) All umpires are required to: -(i) Sign on at umpires control; and(ii) Sign the score sheet at completion of game.f) All standby umpires are required to: -(i) Sign on at umpires control; and(ii) Stay at the control centre the entire game to be ready to fill in if required.g) Penalty as per Team Rules: (b)22. UMPIRING AWARDSa) A thank you gift shall be awarded to any member who has:· Umpired eight (8) competition games in a season;· Passed the <strong>Netball</strong> NSW Section 1 Umpires Theory Exam within the past six(6) years; and· Passed the <strong>Netball</strong> NSW Umpires Exam in the past three (3) years.b) Umpiring for one (1) full day at any Championships conducted by <strong>Netball</strong> NSW shallbe classed as four (4) competition games. Umpiring for one (1) full day at anyrepresentative carnival conducted under <strong>Netball</strong> NSW rules shall be classed as three(3) competition games.c) Coaching of members for district or state badges shall also be deemed to be service.Coaching given over two (2) competition games shall be classed as service for one(1) competition game.d) After three (3) cloth badges have been awarded, then a suitable gift to be awarded inthe fourth and subsequent years.e) Standby umpires shall also be deemed to be service with half (1/2) competition gamebeing allocated.Page 19Updated November 2010
