LITHGOW DISTRICT NETBALL ASSOCIATION INC.BY-LAWSr) Any player, deemed by the Executive on Duty and / or President to be, under theinfluence of drugs and / or alcohol will be suspended immediately from any furtherparticipation in that days play. Any such player will be asked to leave the playingvenue; ands) Infringement for any breach of Team Rules will be the loss of three (3) competitionpoints and fine of $10.00 seniors and $5.00 juniors. The maximum infringement forany team on one (1) day will be loss of three (3) competition points and fine $10.00seniors and $5.00 juniors. Infringements, which incur loss of points – the affectedteam(s) to be notified prior to the next competition day for chance to recognisemistake and future prevention thereof.13. UNIFORMa) The Executive Committee shall approve uniform;b) New teams or teams changing the colour of their uniforms must obtain permissionfrom the Executive Committee before any decision is made;c) Clubs must nominate their colours on registration day. All teams within a Club mustplay in Club colours. Where there is more than one (1) team in any one (1) grade,different coloured position patches must be worn for ease of identification;d) All team players skirts, tops, tracksuit pants and position patches should be identicaland tops are required to be tucked into skirts;e) All players are required to wear black, navy or colour of uniform, full briefs. No bikinipants or shorts to be worn. Short Leg Bike Pants may be worn (bike pants are not tobe visible below skirt line);f) Position patches are to be worn by all players;g) Shoes or boots must be worn. They shall be of lightweight material. Spiked soles arenot allowed;h) All teams are to be in correct full uniform by the second competition game of theseason. Players will be unable to take the court unless they are in correct uniform -umpires will enforce this rule;i) No sharp adornment or item of jewellery except a wedding ring shall be worn. Thisincludes all forms of body piercing. If a wedding ring is worn, it shall be taped;j) Medical alert bracelets or necklets may be worn. Players are requested to pleaseadvise umpires for verification prior to taping;k) Players may play and umpire in tracksuit pants under their skirts but they mustmatch the colour of the uniform and all be identical in colour. Tracksuit pants mayonly be worn in cold weather with the approval of controlling umpire;l) Players are permitted to have short rounded nails of reasonable length, includingartificial nails; andm) Fingernails must not be taped.14. NETTA RULES (8 to 10 YEARS)a) Four (4) quarters each of ten (10) minutes duration to be played with three (3)minutes rest at quarter and three quarter time, and up to five (5) minutes at halftime;b) No ‘FINALS’ matches to be played;c) Each player in the competition to receive a certificate of participation;d) 8 years - non competitive only; (if separate age competition allows);e) 9 years - tougher umpiring i.e., no shuffling allowed.
