LITHGOW DISTRICT NETBALL ASSOCIATION INC.BY-LAWSf) In the tenth (10 th ) year of service, and thereon, umpires are to be suitablyacknowledged as follows: -· 10 yrs service - $75 and / or gift;· 11-14 yrs - $20 and / or gift or equivalent gift;· 15 yrs service $40 and / or gift· 16-19yrs - $20 and / or gift· 20 yrs service - $50 and / or gift· 21-24yrs $20 and / or gift· 25 yrs service - $60 and / or gift.23. DISTRICT UMPIRES AWARDSAll umpires being screened for their <strong>District</strong> Umpires Badge must:· Hold a current pass of 70% or more in the Section 1 (one) Umpires TheoryExam State Theoretical Examination Section 1;· Be coached at training or competition games by National “C” umpires orabove;· Attend any coaching days organised on behalf of LDNA <strong>Inc</strong> by nationalbadged umpires;· Be nominated by the Umpiring Co-ordinator for screening by the UmpiresCommittee;· Be given a copy of the paneling checklist before the date of screening; and· Be screened in the following format:23.1. Bronze BadgeQualifications:Game Required:Badging Panel:23.2. Silver BadgeQualifications:Game Required:Badging Panel:23.3. Gold BadgeQualifications:Game Required:Badging Panel:70% or more Theory Pass Section 1 Umpires ExamSenior Division 3 game (minimum of half a game)Two members National C Badge or above and GoldBadge or above70% or more Theory Pass Section 1 Umpires ExamSenior Division 2 game (minimum three quarters of agame)Two members National C Badge or above and GoldBadge or above70% or more Theory Pass Section 1 Umpires ExamSenior Division 1 game (minimum of one (1) full game)Two members National C Badge or aboveThe Badging panel must use the paneling checklist and award badges in line with thischecklist. A badge must not be awarded if the applicant does not pass each criterion in theappropriate category. Both panelists must be in agreement as to the awarding of a badge. Ifthis is not the case, the umpire is to be screened again at a later date.The successful umpires are to be acknowledged in an appropriate manner.Page 20Updated November 2010
