LITHGOW DISTRICT NETBALL ASSOCIATION INC.BY-LAWS2. MEMBERSMembers of the <strong>Association</strong> shall be players or non-players as defined in the Constitution.Non-playing members are defined as including coaches, managers, umpires, members of theExecutive Committee, member of any Committee or Sub-Committee and appropriate fees areapplicable to ensure appropriate insurance coverage.3. UNFINANCIAL MEMBERSUnfinancial members shall be members who have not paid all monies due the <strong>Association</strong> bythe date set. They shall be considered unfinancial and lose all membership privileges. Anunfinancial player or team may re-apply for membership, stating reasons for default, and theterms of re-admission shall be decided by the Executive Committee for each case on itsmerits. Any team fielding unfinancial player(s) will incur a $5.00 fine per unfinancial player(s)for every game participated in, plus penalty as per playing rules.4. FEESThe <strong>Association</strong> shall set affiliation fees for all teams at the beginning of the annualcompetition season. Players must pay fees in full before taking the court on their secondcompetition game (unless an extension has been granted by the <strong>LDNAI</strong> Treasurer).Membership and / or <strong>Association</strong> rights may be suspended or revoked by the <strong>Association</strong> atany time, with due cause as decided by the Executive Committee.Club / Team Secretaries / Managers are responsible to the Registrar in all matters dealingwith correct nomination of their teams and collection of fees. New players registering late inthe competition (e.g. halfway) shall be eligible for a reduction in the fees as decided by the<strong>Association</strong> upon presentation of a written request at a general meeting.Life Members, who are registered players in any season, will be required to pay the currentinsurance / affiliation fees due to <strong>Netball</strong> NSW.5. DUTIES OF OFFICE BEARERSOffice Bearers must be financial members of the <strong>Association</strong>.5.1. Presidenta) To preside at all meetings of the <strong>Association</strong> and direct where necessary; andb) To fulfill duties as per Constitution.5.2. Vice-Presidenta) To assist the President and perform other such duties as directed by the <strong>Association</strong>.5.3. Secretarya) To collect all mail from the Post Office box and record all incoming and outgoingcorrespondence;b) Immediately after receiving phone calls or mail they must notify relevant Executive,record all incoming and outgoing phone calls.
