4Disassembly / ReassemblyRocker arm pivot, dismounting and remountingTo remove pivot 1 from the support 2 it's necessary to drill out pin 3using a 4mm drill bit.On remounting insert a new pin and reinsert it in bearing surface A(0 to 1 mm).Check the rod’s state of wear and tear (diam. B) and that of therocker arm holes (diam. C).Remove the closing caps 4 at the end and carefully clean inside.Dimensions (mm):6970mmC-BC-Blimit valueA 0 ÷ 1,00B 17,989 ÷ 18,000C 18,015 ÷ 18,0300,015÷ 0,041 0,090Camshaft, disassemblyLoosen the screws and remove the cover 1.Check gasket ring 2 for integrity.Remove the drive rod from the fuel pump.Gently remove the camshaft, slight rotations may be required toavoid binding the camshaft lobes against the camshaft bearingsurface bores.Note: The lift pump drive eccentric 3 is included on the flywheel endof the camshaft and fixed with a screw.
