It comprised LMSunits for on/off control of the runway edge lights on theextended part of the runway. Also a few signs are controlled byLMS units. These are connected to four series circuits divided ontwo substations. The ASP system is connected to I/O interfaces onthe existing PLC control system.Late 2005 Bodø also ordered LMS units for monitoring of all theedge lights on the runway as well as all the lights in the twoapproach lines. The approach lights are connected to anotherfour CCRs in the same two substations. The ASP system was thenalso connected to the existing PLC system by using an ASPgateway in each substation that is proving the PLC system withlamp fault information through the airport network. In 2006 theairport also installed ASP units to monitor the lamps in the PAPIunits.
