Bancroft was recruited as an agent by a man named(Donald, ed.) Mayer who acted as a recruiter and head pimp for Dulles. He introduced Bancroft to Dullesin late 1942 and they began an affair. At that time, the great man was living alone on the Herrengasse inBern and her husband was often gone on business.The interesting part of all this is that the woman told absolutely everything to Jung. When wefound out about this liaison, we had a former White Russian pose as a Soviet agent and approach Jung.
