Their aircraft was a glider with an engine.Knowing that a wing’s lift is not needed in zero gravity, Christamight have thrust the model across the cabin. Obviously, it wouldhave sailed exactly as it would have in a classroom. This would havedemonstrated that space flight and airplane flight serve to overcomegravity. However, if she had thrown the space station model acrossthe classroom, gravity would have destroyed it.
