The City reserves the right to accept or reject the<strong>request</strong>ed price adjustment; if rejected the City reserves the right to terminate thecontract.2.1 SCOPE OF WORKCity to transfer customer billing in<strong>for</strong>mation electronically to the Contractor via the City’s ftpsite. Contractor responsible <strong>for</strong> printing bill, creating graphs or other unique printing on billsbased on data files sent, Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) certifying <strong>of</strong> addresses,fold, insert, (may include additional items to be inserted), seal, apply postage, and mail. Noreturn envelope will be needed. (Note: The City does <strong>no</strong>t certify addresses <strong>no</strong>w and may ormay <strong>no</strong>t utilize this feature in the future.)A. File Formats:Data file to be XML <strong>for</strong>mat.Electronic insert files will be Word or Adobe pdf <strong>for</strong>mat.B. Specifications <strong>for</strong> Utility Bills:1. Utility Bills to display the following in<strong>for</strong>mation in black print: Customer name, Serviceaddress, account number, amount due, service dates (to/from), number <strong>of</strong> days,account status, bill date, due date, current reading, previous reading, usage, code,totals by code, and bar graph. (See attached example). Utility Bills to also includeCity contact in<strong>for</strong>mation, instructions <strong>for</strong> payment, and the in<strong>for</strong>mation on the back side<strong>of</strong> the City’s current utility bill (See attached example). Utility bills <strong>for</strong> “past due”<strong><strong>no</strong>tice</strong>s will contain additional verbiage in red print. (See attached example). Althoughthe initial <strong>for</strong>matting shall be the responsibility <strong>of</strong> Contractor, approval <strong>of</strong> the final<strong>for</strong>mat <strong>of</strong> the utility bill remains in the City’s sole control and discretion.2. Envelope must have return address with City Logo (in logo colors) and state “BillEnclosed” in black.C. Specifications <strong>for</strong> additional inserts:1.
