József molnár,MOL Group CEO:We emerged from the crisisin a strong position.Molnár József,a MOL-csoport vezérigazgatója:A válságból megerősödve kerültünk ki.What sorts of business opportunity are open to MOL in 2012?We expect no fundamental changes – our investmentswill focus on our Upstream and downstream operations.In Russia and in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, which areseen as key areas of our international activities in recent years,our exploration efforts have led to promising discoveries.our aim now, therefore, is to speed up investment programmesin these areas. Besides that, we are also looking at taking someselective inorganic steps. Among other things we would liketo be involved in new blocks. Where these will be locateddepends on where we can be successful, since we need topurchase certain rights first. Whether buying the rights isworthwhile is not the only question – the other considerationis whether the other party is willing to sell them.We mainly wish to strengthen our presence at placeswhere mol Group is already involved, in other words in theformer Soviet Union, as well as in the mediterranean area, inNorth Africa and the middle east.Naturally, we would also try to exploit the possibilitieswhich are still open to us in Central & east europe,primarily in Hungary and Croatia. We have won concessionsin Romania and are playing a part in individual projects inPoland, Bulgaria and other areas of Romania, in an effort tocompensate for shrinking opportunities in Hungary.We would like to reinforce our regional position of strengthin Refining, chiefly by increasing the flexibility and efficiency ofexisting assets. Besides that, we are making efforts to improvecoordinated production, logistics and various processingcapacities. However, growth here is not going to be extensive sowe shall need to follow a growth strategy which works throughconsolidation and efficiency improvement. In Refining, themain aim was to improve energy efficiency. In Petrochemicalswe are looking at development projects which guarantee betterflexibility for the entire business. This will concentrate mostlyon Slovakia because our assets there are ripe for replacementand we need to take action. our plan for 2015 is to build anew ldP plant. This will replace old, less efficient plants andimprove the integration of Refining and Petrochemicals andenable us to produce products with higher margins. In Hungarywe intend to extract butadiene from existing materials – thisis used in the production of synthetic rubber, an extremelyprofitable market. We plan to build the plant in early 2015.Because we basically forecast really low demand forgasoline, our refineries have to be well prepared so that whendemand for diesel begins to soar, motor gasoline and naphtaproduction does not curb diesel production. The best way toachieve this is either to maintain converting capacity levels orimprove them. Both TVK and the Petrochemicals division atSlovnaft have such roles.In addition to all this, we have plans to take unprecedentedsteps in the field of renewable energy sources, too: we areentering the field of bio-fuels. We have a 25% + 1 vote sharein a bio-diesel plant in Komárom and we wish to process theby-product released there at our bio-gas plant inSzázhalombatta. Mindezek mellett természetesenmegpróbáljuk kiaknázni azokat a lehetőségeketis, amelyek még a kelet-közép-európaitérségben vannak, mindenekelőtt Magyarországonés Horvátországban. Romániában is elnyertünkkoncessziókat, illetve egy-egy projekt erejéigLengyelországban, Bulgáriában és Románia másterületein is szerepet vállalhatunk, pótolva az egyrefogyó magyarországi lehetőségeket. A finomításbana regionális pozíciónkat szeretnénk mégjobban megerősíteni, alapvetően az eszközeinkrugalmasságának és hatékonyságának növelésével.Emellett a termelő, a logisztikai és különbözőfeldolgozóipari kapacitásokat próbáljuk összhangbanfejleszteni. Ebben alapvetően nem extenzívlesz a növekedés, hanem intenzifikálásonés hatékonyságjavításon alapuló fejlesztési politikátfogunk folytatni. A finomításban az energetikaihatékonyság javítása a fő cél. A vegyiparbanvárhatók olyan fejlesztések, amelyek biztosítják,hogy a teljes vertikum flexibilitása jobb legyen.Ez Szlovákiára koncentrálódik leginkább, mertott van a cserére érett eszközállomány, amiveltenni kell valamit. Egy új LDP-üzem megépítéséttervezzük 2015-re, ami a régi, kevésbé hatékonyüzemeket fogja kiváltani, és javítja a finomítás ésa petrolkémia integrációját, továbbá jobb marginnalrendelkező termékek kihozatalát is lehetővéteszi. Magyarországon inkább a meglévő anyagárambólpróbáljuk kinyerni a butadiént, ami aAcquisition And strAtegyAKVIZÍCIÓ ÉS STRATÉGIAgumi alapanyaga és nagyon jó a piaca. 2015 elejéretervezzük az üzemépítést. Mivel alapvetőenazzal számolunk, hogy a benzin iránti kereslet nagyonnyomott lesz, a finomítóinknak jól felkészülteknekkell lenniük ahhoz, hogy amikor a dízeliránti kereslet szárnyalni fog, a motor- és a vegyiparibenzin eladása ne fékezze a termelést. Eztúgy tudjuk megoldani, hogy ezeket a konvertálókapacitásokat szinten tartjuk, illetve feljavítjuk.Mind a TVK-nak, mind a Slovnaft petrolkémiaiegységének van ilyen szerepe. A megújuló energiákterületén is tervezünk új beruházást: Vanegy biodízelre szakosodott, 25 százalék plusz egyszavazat erejéig MOL-tulajdonú érdekeltségünkKomáromban, s az ott képződött mellékterméketkívánjuk feldolgozni a százhalombattai biogázüzemben.Ez egy 15 millió köbméteres biogázkapacitáslesz.
