These challenges concern everythingfrom the densification of cities and sustainability,to threats related to extreme events and theenvironment. <strong>Lund</strong> <strong>University</strong>, located in the dynamicCopenhagen-Malmö region, is well known for its competenceand knowledge, and offers superb res<strong>our</strong>cesfor studying these matters in a broader context. The programme consists ofindividual industrial design projects, workshops andadditional theoretical c<strong>our</strong>ses.You will participate in and contribute to the creationof knowledge within the field of design. By organisingexhibitions, seminars and workshops you will communicatey<strong>our</strong> work and participate in the public debate.The School of Industrial Design offers you a creativeenvironment with excellent workshop facilities. Aspart of a full-scale university, we can offer great opportunitiesfor a multidisciplinary approach throughcooperation with other faculties. There are extracurricularc<strong>our</strong>ses that the <strong>student</strong>s can choose, forexample Glass Design (4.5 ECTS).Career prospectsOn completion of the Master’s degree, you will be wellprepared to continue these discussions in whatevercapacity you choose to work, be it designer, entrepreneur,design coordinator, manager or researcher, inthe public or private sectors, in a team or as an individual.Graduates of the programme go on to successfulcareers, and can be found at brands such as Google,Ikea, Sony, Tetra Pak, Husqvarna, Haglövs, Electrolux,H&M, and many more. The programme also providesan excellent platform from which to continue studiesat PhD level.Admission requirements• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design or an equivalentqualification. Applicants who do not hold therequired degree are eligible provided that they canprove that they are registered for the last semesterof a programme leading to such a degree. Anofficial document stating that they are likely to beawarded the degree before the start of the Master’sprogramme must be submitted.
