A.INSTRUCTIONS TO TENDERERSPUBLICATION REF.: EuropeAid/128790/D/SUP/KOSIn submitting a tender, the tenderer accepts in full and without restriction the special andgeneral conditions governing the contract as the sole basis of this tendering procedure,whatever its own conditions of sale may be, which it hereby waives. <strong>Tender</strong>ers are expected toexamine carefully and comply with all instructions, forms, contract provisions andspecifications contained in this tender dossier. Failure to submit a tender containing all therequired information and documentation within the deadline specified will lead to the rejectionof the tender. No account can be taken of any reservation in the tender as regards the tenderdossier; any reservation may result in the immediate rejection of the tender without furtherevaluation.These Instructions set out the rules for the submission, selection and implementation ofcontracts financed under this call for tenders, in conformity with the provisions of the PracticalGuide to contract procedures for EC external actions, which is applicable to the present call(available on the Internet at this address:http://ec.europa.eu/europeaid/work/procedures/index_en.htm).1. Supplies to be provided1.1 The subject of the framework contract is the supply, delivery (and for lot 5 the installation) by thecontractor of the following goods (see Annex II and III for the description of the items and theestimated quantities that MAY be purchased during the duration of the framework contract),in 5 (five) lots, at EULEX Kosovo, Pristina, DDU 1 .Lot 1Lot 2Lot 3Lot 4Lot 5PDH/SDH Microwave EquipmentNarrowband Microwave EquipmentPower SystemTelecommunications SheltersTelecommunications TowersThe signature of the framework contract imposes no obligation on the Contracting Authority topurchase the quantities as estimated in Annex II and III.Deliveries shall ONLY take place following the issuance of “purchase orders” to be issued by theContracting Authority during the duration of this framework contract.• For lots 1 and 2 and 3 and 4:The time limits for delivery shall be 90 (ninety) days from the reception by the contractor of aPurchase Order placed by the Contracting Authority.• For lot 5:The time limits for the supply and installation (in-situ) of towers shall be 60 (sixty) days fromthe reception by the contractor of a Purchase Order placed by the Contracting Authority.But the contracting authority will not impose the installation of more than one tower perweek, unless agreed by the Contractor.1 - Incoterms 2000 International Chamber ofCommerce - http://www.iccwbo.org/incoterms/id3040/index.html3
