Each shield must beadequate in surface area and strength as toprotect the installed microwave antennasdefined in the Antennas SectionFeeders & Feeder Ladder:• The tower will be installed with a feederladder for the secure fixing of feeders fromthe communications shelter to the top of thetower. The communications shelter isexpected to be no more than 5 meters fromthe base of the tower.• Each tower, will have in total ten feedercoaxial cables provided by and installed bythe contractor. Each feeder will becorrugated copper ½ inches in diameter withan impedance of 50Ω. Four of the feederswill run from the communications shelterlocated at the bottom of the tower to theantenna mounting brackets located at heightsof 20m and 25m. The remaining six feederswill run from the shelter to the top workplatform.69
