adequate in surface area and strength as toprotect the installed microwave antennas,defined in the Antennas SectionFeeders & Feeder Ladder:• The tower will be installed with a feederladder for the secure fixing of feeders fromthe communications shelter to the top of thetower. The communications shelter isexpected to be no more than 5 meters fromthe base of the tower.• Each tower will have in total ten feedercoaxial cables provided by and installed bythe contractor. Each feeder will becorrugated copper ½ inches in diameter withimpedance of 50Ω. Three of the feeders willrun from the communications shelter locatedat the bottom of the tower to the antennamounting brackets located at heights of 16m.The remaining seven feeders will run fromthe shelter to the top work platform.• The contractor will earth each feeder at thetop, middle and bottom of the run, and willterminate with the appropriate N-Typeconnector at both ends76
