Investigate condition of available public or private roads for clearances, restrictions,bridge-load limits, bond requirements, and other limitations that affect or may affectaccess and transportation operations to and from the jobsite.B. Investigate and document pre-construction condition of existing public roads for majorhaul routes and onsite roads for maintenance and restoration.C. Extent of preconstruction survey: From Highway 99 to site.3.02 ROADWAYS AND PARKING AREASA. Construct temporary roadways for access from public thoroughfares to serve constructionarea, of a width and load-bearing capacity to provide unimpeded traffic for constructionpurposes as limits permit.B. Construct temporary bridges or culverts at stream crossings or cross-drainage channels toallow for unimpeded surface drainage.C. Parking Areas:1. Construct temporary parking areas to accommodate use of construction personnel.2. Provide additional offsite parking when site space is not adequate.3. Locate as approved by the COR.3.03 ROADWAYS CONSTRUCTED UNDER THE CONTRACTA. Roadways constructed under these specifications will be available for the Contractor'suse in accordance with requirements of this section.B. Prior to acceptance, permanent roads may be used for construction traffic.1. Avoid traffic loading beyond design capacity.2. Contractor is responsible for damage caused by construction operations.C.
