Thesculptures and the capitals no doubt belong to the dateof the inscription, but the cloister was re-built early in the1 2th century, when the abbey adopted the rule of Citeaux,and the old carvings were re-fixed in the new work. Thearches of the cloister are now pointed instead of beinground and it is not vaulted but has a wooden roof.
