In his famous Aramaic reshut-poem for the“when I stand and כקאימנא ותרגימנא he uses the phrase ‏,פתגםtranslate.” 70Many sources point to the homography of נדרנא as one of thefoundations of the revised, prospective version of Kol Nidre. However, it is not clear who it was that first pointed out thishomography. According to most of the later sources (see below), itwas Rabbenu Tam who adjusted the tense of the first four verbs, which could explain why he fails to mention them in Sefer ha-Yashar,in discussing his father’s revision of Kol Nidre. However, the latersources are contradicted by the report of Rabbenu Tam’s own disciple,R. Eliezer b.
